Starting next Wednesday night, we'll be making use of our IRC channel (http://forums.convictgaming.com//index.php) by playing the frustratingly fun Werewolf IRC Role-Playing Game. For anyone who has played the Mafia party game before, this game follows the same rules. :)

Werewolf IRC RPG is a game full of backstabbing and drama, where 1-2 players from the group are randomly selected to be 'Werewolves'. The rest of the people are automatically assigned as 'Villagers'. The 'Seer', who is allied with the Villagers, can help discover the identities of the Werewolves by seeing into the mind of the players.

The game is split into two parts- night and day:
During the night, the Werewolf/wolves can secretly select a single villager to 'eat'. The Seer can also view into the mind of one player per night.
During the day, the victim from the previous night is revealed and removed from the game. Everyone, including the werewolves, discuss who they believe the Werewolves to be, using some guesswork, as well as logic and reasoning.
At the end of every day, everyone must vote on who they suspect to be a Werewolf. The victim with the highest votes will be lynched. This continues until all the Werewolves are lynched, or the Werewolves outnumber the Villagers.
