I need to make a rules page for Killing Floor. Please post what rules you think should be on there.

Killing Floor Server Rules.

1. No music, singing, humming, jerking off or whatever else in the mic.



1st Offense: Player will be warned.
2nd Offense: Player will be given a last warning.
3rd Offense: Permanently muted and/or gagged.

2. No one under sixteen (16) is allowed to use the mic in the server.

You will be Permanentel Muted

3. Be respectful to admins and players.


1st Offense: Player will be warned to stop being disrespectful.
2nd Offense: Banned for a day.
3rd Offense: Banned for a week/perm-ban. Depends on the severity of it.

4. No racist, derogatory, or sexist comments.


1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Permanental Muted


5. No politics--no one cares who you voted for.

1st Offense: Player will be warned.
2nd Offense: Permanent mute if said on mic, permanent gag if typed.

6. No advertising other servers, recruiting, and/or websites in our servers.

This rule stated here is the biggest offense you could ever commit on a server. Advertising another server or any website will just get you a perm-ban.

8. If you don't speak English, don't use your microphone. (English only in voice chat).


1st Offense: Warning

9. No inappropriate sprays allowed. This includes male and female nudity, racist and offensive sprays.


1st Offense: Warning/kick. Depends on the severity of it.
2nd Offense: 1 Day ban
3rd Offense: 1 Week ban
4th Offense: Perm-ban

10. Pings over (???)


1st Offense: Kick
2nd Offense: Temp-ban (10 mins)

Rules look good. I think for ping still 250? I think some of the rules could be summed under no griefing. Especially when it comes to ass jockeys welding ppl into spots. Forsaken and I had to deal with that recently.

I was under the impression that ping wasnt such a huge issue in KF, unless its like 700+ I was playing with around 400 and the only person that was affected was me, according to many cvg members.

is the admin bind command the same? bind v sm_admin ?thanks for any help.

While I've played Killing Floor a crap load I thought I'd give my input.

TEAMWORK

1. Dont wield your team mates outside just to save your own butt.

2. Share any extra cash to spare with team mates in need. Just throw the random question out to see if anyone needs a bit of extra cash.

3. Dont try to be Rambo. Teamwork is always key to victory!

4. Communicate! If you see a oncoming fleshpound at least type it to the rest. I've seen teams get demolished because they dont see the fleshpound till its to late. Also a easy way for people without mics is to just say "fp". This at least gives people a heads up that theres one in sight.

5. Dont block the trader on maps that have a small room. Many times people will just barely get to the trader in time (say 15 seconds) and stand right in front of the doorway while the one or two people behind you are screwed now since they were behind you.

6. Strategy and talking. Usually if you talk to your team mates and work out at least SOME sort of plan things will go decent. This applies usually for Wave 7 and onward (since 7 is when the Fleshpounds come). Also note knowing what you wanna do for the Patriarch is key to survival. Bum rushing him can only sometimes work and even then its risky.
